◊ a b o u t S I T E ◊

→We decided to dedicate a website to D because there are only a few fansites for them, and a lot of information about D wasn't available in English, or wasn't very easy to find for Western fans.

D is one of the best rock bands still active in the Visual Kei scene, and all the band members have great experience in the music scene, not to mention impressive talent and technical skills. Their songs and artistic performances surpasses in quality the majority of other bands, they deserved a big fansite.

◊ R o s e n K r e u t z ◊

→The title of the site means Rose+Cross in German. We think it fit very well with the band's Gothic image and themes, and the Rose is one of their symbols as well as the concept of their first album The name of the ROSE.

→Rosenkreutz (Kristian Rosenkreutz) is also the name of the legendary Occultist, founder of the most mysterious of all esoteric orders, the Order of the Rose Cross.

→The Latin sentence "Stat Rosa Pristina Nomine, Nomina Nuda Tenemus" means "The ancient rose endures in its name, we hold empty names". It is the key-sentence of the famous novel "The Name of the Rose", written by Umberto Eco, from which D took the title for their first album.
