Ruiza's solo project started in 2002 when he was still a member of Syndrome. The short single 碧の破片, sung by a mysterious female singer called Fumiko, was only meant to be part of a side project. In fact Ruiza never performed live as a solo artist and put the project on hold after its only release. Suddenly in 2006 Ruiza decided to devote himself to his side project again and recorded an instrumental EP titled Amenity Gain. On the contrary to the first single, which was more romantic and visual kei oriented, the mini-album is closer to D's metal tracks and focused on Ruiza's guitar skills.
