Node of scherzo (ノード・オブ・スケルツォ) is a sort of session band defined theatrical rock show for its blend of rock concert and musical comedy elements.
The first lineup featured three members from HIZAKI grace project (Juka on vocals, HIZAKI on guitar, Jasmine You on bass), Kaya (solo singer and former Schwarz Stein vocalist), and the project mastermind KAMIJO (now in Versailles). At the HALLOWEEN SPECIAL concert held on October 31 2007 Versailles members TERU and YUKI also joined the main cast.
Node of scherzo is focused on its three vocalists playing the main characters, and the other cast members and guests are also involved in several skits and music performances.
Each concert has its own plot and characters, but the main theme is always beauty and its expressions. In fact Node of scherzo is a sort of symbol of the aesthetic revolution supported by both Sherow Artist Society and Kaya.
In addition, the Node of scherzo song (also released as a single) has been also performed in several concerts involving both Juka, Versailles and Kaya and became a sort of hymn of the aesthetic revolution.
It's not clear if Node of scherzo will freeze its activities after Juka's retirement on December 31 2007. An instore event was held on March 15 2008 without Juka but there are no more concerts planned at the moment.
