SULFURIC ACID was formed by guitarist TOMOZO and vocalist MASAKI in November 2002. After several releases and lineup changes between 2003 and 2005, SULFURIC ACID found a stable lineup with MASAKI on vocals, TOMOZO on guitar, Yanagi on bass, SEIJI on drums and occasionally a support guitarist for live concerts.
In summer 2005, right after a collaboration with MASAKI on the solo EP Dance with grace, HIZAKI was asked to join SULFURIC ACID as second guitarist.
Despite being the last member to join the band, HIZAKI quickly became the main songwriter and heavily influenced SULFURIC ACID's sound.
However, at the end of July 2006, one year after HIZAKI's addition, SULFURIC ACID decided to disband due to personal differences and will to pursue such projects as TOMOZO and MASAKI's +ISOLATION and HIZAKI's grace project. The last concert took place at Hamamatsu FORCE on October 8th 2006.
